The Opening Event of the 150th Anniversary Celebrations of "Alliance - Kol Israel Haverim"
In the words of President Shimon Peres who spoke at the opening event: "Alliance helped shape the State of Israel, especially with regard to education and strengthening the Jewish identity. This is a one of a kind organization that proved over the years that the power of the Jewish people is in education – not aggressiveness, riches or beauty. We doubt our current knowledge to help deepen and develop it." Read more

The Way It Used To Be…. The Crémieux Gymnasia " In 1949 "Kol Israel Haverim" established the "Crémieux Gymnasia", named after Adolphe Crémieux who was one of the first leaders of "Alliance-KIAH" and also served as Minister of Justice in France. The Gymnasia was built at the same location as the old KIAH School – "Tora & Malacha". Today, the building is still standing, next to the Machane Yehuda market
